The List - Because sharing is caring

I'll start with a big fat...."you're welcome"...or shall I make it an..."it's my pleasure"?

So what is 'the list'? Other than an insanely amazing read...this is my list of people that I would actually consider leaving Kris for - when and if the opportunity presents itself. He's aware of the list - I advise him when it's updated so he knows who to keep an eye out for. Anyone I've overlooked???

This list is forever evolving as all good things should. So without further ado...the list as it stands as at 9pm Friday 23rd August 2013...

Dan Ewing - no explanation required. I admit I've never actually watched him act but this picture speaks to me in ways that I can't even type about. And I'm not even open to discussion on the Brax subject....Heath all the way girls....OK!!!

Wentworth Miller - he may be gay but I've always enjoyed a challenge ;-) And I would so love to turn that frown upside down!

Commando - I know I know, I'm not allowed to do pushups or situps but I'm sure I'd be able to manage a few reps 'under' his guidance? I confess I've actually asked him in an online forum if he bakes. His guns are amazing but will he whip me up scones on demand?

Adam Levine - See Dan Ewing - another all time fave!

Josh Duhamel - Arghhhhhhhhhh.......let's hope I run into him in Vegas...because you know what they say about Vegas!

Guy Sebastian - Guy has been on and off the list. When he released Elevator Love I took him off...but his 'guns' are insane these days and I'm a sucker for tats and guns so he's back on the list since Battle Scars.

Shemar Moore - Yes I get nightmares but try stop me watching him strut his stuff on Criminal Minds!

Eric Dane - I used to be a big fan of pepper but Eric turned me to the light side. I'm now very much a salt and pepper fan!

I don't discriminate based on gender either. Jessica, Eva and Charlize all make the cut!

And THAT girl from the Robin Thicke film clip - WOWSERS!! AMAZING!!!

Righto - this has been by far the best blog to research! I'm off for a cold shower - enjoy!

Now

A late night email notification from another blogger has inspired this post called ‘NOW’. Note that now is 10:44pm Friday 9th August 2013.

Making – progress! I have almost cleared the couch of work  stuff ready to work in the office tomorrow. The couch is far too comfortable to be productive on a Saturday.

Cooking – Custard – well I will be tomorrow before 12 WBT starts Monday.

Drinking – Red wine  - merlot to be precise.

Reading – Lachy’s medical file.
Wanting – The kids to sleep in tomorrow.
Sewing – Runners for Mia’s room (6 months later! They are coming Tones!)
Wishing – Weekends were longer!
Enjoying – The music countdown on Foxtel – 80’s v 90’s Top 200 Number ones. Go the Macarena!!!

Waiting – for Suzie to reply to Kris’ message in Viber.
Liking – The sound of my keys as I’m typing.
Wondering – How fast I can type these days? Might have to purchase Mavis Beacon and brush up on the skills.
Loving – my new toaster!
Hoping – that the floors will mop themselves tomorrow?
Marvelling – at how one floor can gather so may spills! Thanks Krisso!!

Needing – another wine???

Smelling – my birthday candle burning.
Wearing – Alex Perry threads…ummm…Bonds trackies, and a long sleever (with a bra) cos I had someone pop over an hour or so ago! Oh...and heels - see below...

Following – OzSale on FB  - and it cost me $$$ tonight  - sucker for a sale. Speaking of which I bought a $29 pair of heels today…reduced to $3…..89.65% off!!!
Noticing – Just how much I need to mop the floors.
Knowing – That I won’t mop the floors til Monday when 12 WBT starts and I can make the most of the extra calories burned.
Thinking – I might get Kris to proof read this – but then he will see that I blew $3 on shoes today – shock horror!
Feeling – Absolutely shattered that I spent $300 at Big W today and FORGOT TO BUY DISHWASHER TABLETS. Now I’ll have to pay full RRP for a small box. Arghhh.
Bookmarking – tax related updates for 2013/14 for future reference.

Opening – Another bottle of wine!

Giggling – At Kris as he scrolls through his Facebook feed - how did he live without it?

Feeling – merry, excitable, half drunk….hiccup!
Now – Singing to Mike and the Mechanics….loved that song! 20 songs to go in the countdown – Backstreets up – time to bust a move I think!!!

Enjoy your weekend all xxx

Addendum: By the time I uploaded the pics it was 11:31pm and my phone is still beeping at me!! Glad I'm not the only one awake...and the countdown is up (or is that down??) to number 11 - think I'm going to have to see it in....

12WBT - Getting back on the horse

OK - time to fess up...

I've been using all my old excuses and am sick of whinging about the sore neck - poor me, poor me, poor me!
I can't lose these last few kgs for one reason only - I'm making bad choices. Since Xmas I've been up two down two, just erring ever so carefully on the up though of course - story of my life.

So I've signed up for another round of 12WBT! I'm excited and shit scared at the same time. I went 12 weeks without a coke (love of my life) the first time I did the program. I'm hoping to find that level of dedication again so that I can get to my goal and then play the up two/down two game from a better starting point!

Don't stress - I won't be boring you with all the gory details and taking gym selfies but I'll check in at Week 4, 8 and 12 and report my progress. Be it good bad or just down right ugly.

The first time I did the program I had a team of helpers backing me - keeping me honest and listening to all my adventures. It was easy to follow as I was so desperate not to let them down. I shared the good the bad and the ugly and everything in between and the weeks just flew! And look what I turned into...

The second time I did the program I followed the food only as I couldn't move  - literally. But it still worked and I still lost weight. I got oh so close to that elusive goal in my head and then launched into Xmas mode, holiday mode, Dunsborough mode, Easter mode, study mode, exam mode, winter mode etc etc. So it's time to bite the bullet and get back on the horse. I will have to get through another exam during this 12 weeks which will probably be my biggest test!

Through doing the 12WBT with my old pal Houghy last year I've been so lucky to 'meet' some of her online friends from her Mothers Groups. All of us started having weight loss or fitness goals but the group has become sooooo much more than that. It's amazing how close you can become from afar with the power of technology these days and I consider these girls amongst my closest friends now. When something exciting happens I can't wait to share it with them all. And of course when something bad happens we are all there for each other too. This sums up the girls perfectly:

In fact things were getting so heated in the friendship department that we decided to make it official - we have our own lotto club. When we win we are off to Vegas! We have envisaged the Today Tonight interview, sipping champas in the back of the limo as we discuss how we all 'met'. These girls are incredible and when we have that big win I won't even know where to start with who to hug first! We have our own wrist bands ready too!

So I'm all set really - just putting it out there for some local support! If you see me at IGA please feel free to check over my trolley contents and discard any Tim Tams or Coke. And if you see me exercising...well...try your best to block the vision out. It won't be pretty.

Now to empty the cupboards and drink as much coke as possible before kick off on Monday 12th! Wish me luck...
