Cake time - a trip down memory lane

We like doing birthdays close together in our house. Kris and Emme are two days apart in February and Lachy and I four days apart in July. Will is by himself in June but shares his birthday with two of his cousins so there's a good chance for double the cake for him most years too.

Having said that, after last week I am soooo over cake. Birthdays in our house usually mean a cake for home, cupcakes for school and sometimes a second cake for extended family celebrations! So given the cake mad state we've been in I thought I'd take a little trip down birthday cake lane...

Warning: This could be painful - I just realised we're up to our 16th Birthday for the kids!

No cake here but couldn't resist the opportunity to share a newborn pic of Lachy, Will and Emme. Lachy slept in the bath our first night out of hospital as we didn't have a bassinet yet.

As for the rest of this year, Will has requested a cake with licorice for his birthday! Suits me - I love licorice. And Lachy has yet to decide but I'm guessing it will be something to do with Transformers, Minecraft or Tornados? Wish me luck!
